This workshop will introduce participants to basic hand tools and power tools, including screws, nails, hammers, impact drivers, drills, jigsaws, sawzalls, chopsaws, skilsaws, and sanders. This class is designed for women and individuals who were not socialized to use tools.
Zoe Peters is a fourth-year union carpenter apprentice. Before that, she worked in cabinet shops, and was lucky enough to spend lots of her childhood hanging out in her dad’s wood shop.
