Workshops

Boston Building Resources offers hands-on home improvement classes throughout the year. Spring workshops will be announced in March.

Typical workshop topics include kitchen design, finish carpentry, window rehab, sheetrocking and taping, tiling, table saw magic, basic plumbing, and much more. Workshop instructors are trade professionals who volunteer their time. We also welcome suggestions for workshops that you would like to see offered.

Co-op members may attend most classes for $130-$195, and Plus members for $60-$90. The general public may attend for $160-$240. Please note that only those who are registered will be able to attend the workshop.

Use the codes COOPMEMBER and PLUSMEMBER to receive member pricing when registering for a workshop.

If you would like to receive an email as soon as each new workshop schedule is posted, sign up for our "Workshop Schedule" email (just three emails per year).

Workshop Policies

Payment must be made at the time of registration through Eventbrite.  If you are unable to attend and wish to cancel your registration, you may do so through Eventbrite, under the following conditions:

  1. If at least one week (seven days) or more before the class, we will refund half the cost of the class.

  2. All other cancellations are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

Only those who are registered will be able to attend the workshop (no unregistered companions). Contact us if you need reasonable accommodations.

Audio or video recording of workshops is not allowed.

Please refrain from cell phone use during workshops.
