Demystifying Plaster Repair

  • Spontaneous Celebrations 45 Danforth Street Boston, MA, 02130 United States

If you have an old house that has walls of lath and plaster, this is the workshop for you.  Learn how to repair walls that are cracked, or where the plaster is pulling away from the lath, by using a bonding adhesive to reattach the plaster. We will learn how to assess problem areas, apply the adhesive, and finish the area for a smooth, even appearance.

This workshop will be held at Spontaneous Celebrations, 45 Danforth Street, Jamaica Plain, where participants will receive hands-on experience fixing up their facility. There will be a 30-minute lunch break.

Rory Brennan is owner of Big Wally's Plaster Magic, based in Brattleboro, Vermont. He has been in business for 30 years and has been featured eight times on This Old House, including Ask This Old House, where host Tom Silva demonstrated this repair technique.

This workshop is currently sold out.  Please click on the button below to add your name to the wait list.  You will be contacted should space become available.
